Chapter 7: Animal tissues
Types of Animal tissues- Epithelial tissues, nervous tissue, connective tissue, muscular tissue.

Practical: To study the slides of Sclerenchyma, striated, smooth and cardiac muscle, Blood smear, Squamous epithelium.

Cell Theory, Prokaryotic cells- Mesosomes, inclusion body, cell envelope, Eukaryotic cell- Cell membrane, cell wall, endomembrane system, Mitochondria, Plastids, Riosomes, Cilia, Flagella, Centrosome, Nucleus, Types of chromosomes.

Chapter 9: Biomolecules
Micromolecules, Macromolecules- Proteins, Polysaccharides, primary and secondary metabolites, nucleic acid, Structure of protein and nucleic acid., Types of bonds - peptide bond, glycosidic bond, phosphodiester bond.

Practicals:
To prepare slide of T.S. of  monocot/ dicot stem/root.
To study the slides of parenchyma, collenchyma, sclerenchyma, palisade cells, stomata, T,S of Dicot / monocot stem/ root.
